Routine Technician

A Routine Technician is an experienced Level 2 technician working independently to resolve most day-to-day issues. This level of technician may need to refer to a TSP technician periodically, for school-specific application or infrastructure issues.

Typical tasks for Routine & Operational support technicians include:

  • Create / Move / Delete / Change user accounts
  • Set-up & configuration of edu-mail
  • Minor on-site PC repairs & upgrades
  • Network administration
  • New system rollouts / work station imaging
  • Installation & maintenance of desktop software
  • Troubleshooting
  • Setup and configuration of printers & printing
  • Installation & upgrades of virus protection
