TSP Technician

A TSP (Technical Support Provider) Technician is an experienced Computer Technician, familiar with all aspects of a school environment, including administration and curriculum networks.

Our TSP technicians attend regular DEECD training days and are aware of DEECD IT policies.

Typical tasks for TSP technicians include:

• Support of technology planning and implementation advice
• File servers and local area networking support
• Wide Area Networking support
• Internet services, proxy servers and intranet support
• Desktop hardware and software support
• E-mail and electronic library services support
• Remote management services support
• Video conferencing support
• Streaming video support
• Digital satellite communications service support
• DoE applications and technology rollouts
• Training and skills transfer
• Training of school staff
• Skills transfer to routine and operational level technicians and trainees
